In the early 1950âs it became Cairns Motors (Private) Limited.Cairns Motors (Private) Limited was acquired by T.A Holdings limited and changed the name to T.A. Motors.T.A Holdings restructured in the early 1990s, and in this process T.A Motors was sold to the Omar family. The owners changed the T.A. Motors name to John L Robinson Agencies (Pvt.) Ltd trading as Amalgamated Motor Corporation.
